NRC On-Site Stores & Terminals
The cost savings start the day your in-plant store is opened. Immediately deplete your safety stock and other inventory situations that require less than a week of on-hand inventory.
This provides a significant reduction of carrying costs. In addition, our real-time, on-line computer terminals allow customers to check inventory, cross parts, place purchase orders, and access product specifications.
Within the first year, our customers realize the full potential of having NRC manage their inventory.
After implementation of the program instituted at the above customer, realizations of inventory targets were achieved by the end of the first year. This was partially due to reduction of on hand inventory that in some cases was no longer used, due to obsolescence of customers end product or an interim engineering change.

This is the very heart of a successful alliance. Each company must share information as if they were one. The transition of data must be seamless. This would include an on-site representative to sit in on schedule meetings, and/or any meetings dealing with but not limited to, demand changes or engineering changes in order to capitalize on the flow of data.

As the specialists in inventory management; we are given the ability to perform our jobs correctly. At the facilities we currently service, we are accepted as a member of the team, not an outsider infringing on another persons job.
A valiant effort must be given to work as a team to administrate the supply base with all departments involved (Purchasing, engineering, quality, accounting, etc).
