staying abreast on current and future industry policies, practices,

The Account Development Representative will negotiate skillfully in tough
situations with both internal and external customers and is able to win
concessions without damaging relationships. The Account Development
Representative will use their relationship and trust leverage with other
parties to gain more profit and revenue for the company.
Essential Duties and responsibilities:

Experience Requirements:

POSITION Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft® Excel and Word mandatory. Microsoft®
Access skills are preferred.

BASIC PURPOSE: To optimize the customer supply chain, by
trouble shooting order entry, expediting requirements, and
purchase (scheduling) issues with our vendors (electronics
manufacturers).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interfacing with the suppliers, internally with Marketing, Sales,
Engineering, Purchasing, Operations, and Finance to confirm
purchases, offer supplier alternatives and to develop on-time
solutions.

Key Responsibilities
· To
optimally regulate the level of company inventory by liaising with the
sales department. This also includes managing product buyers.
· In
addition, person will also be required to conduct buying/ purchasing
activities themselves.
It
also includes managing relationships of key suppliers, including
negotiations, design focus, and
overall business relationships with suppliers.
Requirements
·
3+ years
supervisory or managerial experience – especially in inventory
optimization.
· Experience
in Microsoft 2010 applications
· Some
travel to key customers or suppliers sites in North America
· CPM,
CPIM is an advantage
Duties & Responsibilities
·
Work on
strategies that reduce inventory levels, in accordance with key
parameters.
·
Negotiate
and improve Terms & Conditions with Key Franchised Suppliers
·
Develop a
high performance supply chain base to support Sales and future growth
·
Optimize
company spending by implementing special programs designed to increase
inventory turns as well as procurement at best total cost of acquisition.
·
Participate in adding to our continuous improvement by setting goals, and
utilizing error prevention & tracking systems for corrective action (both
internal & external) in a timely fashion.
·
Coordinate
organizational relationships using internal functions in all areas of the
company to support management philosophies of Quality Assurance, Quality
Control, and Total Quality Management.

is a plus: Knowledge of military and commercial electronics and components,
including specifications and contract requirements, is preferred.
Buying/purchasing experience in (or for) the electronics
distribution industry. Any experience in generating quotes and/or selling
electronic components to customers is a plus. Experience in submitting RFQ’s
to vendors and organizing vendor responses is also helpful.
· Demonstrated ability to
build relationships at all levels of customer and supplier
· Proven business
development and the ability to originate new business, converting a lead
into a qualified prospect
